Annual Schedule

Timetable for Music Makers Choir from Sept 2026 to June 2027.

This timetable doesn't provide for the details of the performances, which will be announced on the website, closer to the date. 

 
Dates are subject to change. 

Music season Sept 3 to Dec 17, 2026.

• Music acquisition. Nancy orders the music for the following year during June and July. She delivers by Mid-August to Madalyn Vachon for stamping and numbering and to Nancy Stock to begin making recordings. Recordings complete and distributed by e-mail, as soon as possible in late September

  

• Potluck Lunch at Nancy Thomson's. August 27, 11:00 - 1:00 PM   

• Workshop- Sept 3th. At Shepherd King church, 804 75 Ave, from 9:30 - 2:00 PM

• First Practice – September 10- music and binders will be distributed to choir and Last Practice – December 17 when music will be handed in.

• Choir practices Thursday mornings at 9:30am-11:30 at Shepherd King Church  

• Sept 10, 17, 24

• Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

• Nov 5 (Performance), 12, 19 (Performance and day trip to Rosebud Theater), 26

• Dec 3 (Performance), 10, 17 (Performance and last practice)

• Choir performances (Locations to be arranged later). 

• Carol Festival at Knox United church, 506 4th St SW. in December.  Date to be determined.  Time to be arranged if choir is participating.

Music season for January to June will be posted when it is available.
 

• Christmas Luncheon in January or possibly Stage West

• Workshop-  at Shepherd King church for first practice in January

• Choir practices. Same time and location.  New music distributed.

• One of these performances may be combined with an out-of-town spring outing.

• Annual General Meeting.  Held in mid-May, on a Thursday, at 11 am at the Blackfoot Inn. It follows an hour's choir practice.  There is a luncheon afterwards. 

# Social outings may also be included in the annual timetable and will be arranged in the fall and spring.
